Award winner for the best UX & UI Design Project at Ironhack Berlin.

Helped a Start up company based in Berlin called Visoby. Vittoria, the CEO, needed a way to make their clients and possible users see some workout videos and find out more about the benefits of doing Face Yoga regularly.


Younger people with low self-esteem need a natural and sustainable solution to maintain a youthful and healthy appearance so that they can avoid premature aging.

How might we create a simple motivating way for face yoga beginners to manage time, stay committed to the exercises and improve their personal self-esteem?

Conducted User Research and User Interface Design together with a team of two.

My role in the project is to understand the market needs and gaps. First surveyed users to find out if there are any existing products in the market that could help us learn about the benefits face yoga can provide for our health. Then, we started writing the user stories for each feature so we could easily understand how it was important to different users. And last but not least, researching all possible signs of success or failure.

This led us to identifying gaps in the market, which we then filled using our product.



The research led us to find out that most of the women between 25 and 45 years old are self-conscious about their appearance. They want to follow a healthy lifestyle but don't want to go through any painful or inhumane treatments for their faces.

After extended research, it was clear that we needed a way to maintain and motivate perseveration in the user, and work on their mental well-being by giving them the right positivity and lowering the time of the workouts to encourage coming back to do them.

The intro informs the user in a short way what's the app about and filters their interests.

Then the user has a way to customize exercises by part of the face and time. Also gets rewards with every workout they accomplish and gets weekly challenges to keep motivation


Motivation and wellbeing 

It was a major learning for the project, that a user gets encouragement also from positive phrases that helps also with self-acceptance and self-love. This kind of motivation make the app to be more empathetic.

Color Palette 

The colors selected also reflected relaxation and peace to the user during the testing process. This was important to consider also to help with anxiety and for the user to find a safe place.

Selfie mode and filter

Most of the people that also tested different apps recorded to lose interest because they did not see any difference in their faces or they didn't have a mirror close by to do the exercises so this was solve with the selfie mode for a better performance.
